February 2, 2024: Mebane, NC 27302 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Eastern Alamance Eagles (Mebane, NC) and the visiting Williams Bulldogs (Burlington, NC), saw Eastern Alamance's basketball squad hold off Williams by a count of 78-77.
With the victory, Eastern Alamance upgrades its record to 10-6 on the campaign. The Eagles host Cedar Ridge (Hillsborough, NC) to play the Fighting Red Wolves in a challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Fighting Red Wolves come into the challenge with a record of 9-10. Cedar Ridge lost 53-39 in their recent league challenge against Orange (Hillsborough, NC)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Western Alamance Warriors (Elon, NC) in a challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Williams will attempt to upgrade on its 6-11 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 13-5 record after their 46-34 non-league win over Southeast Alamance (Haw River, NC).
