La Joya Coyotes (La Joya, TX) supporters were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Bears (San Juan, TX), 3-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Coyotes confront the Edinburg Bobcats (Edinburg, TX) in a 6A Region 4 District 31 challenge, on Tuesday, February 13. La Joya will attempt to move on its 6-3 season record. The Bobcats enter the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 2-0 league loss to Economedes (Edinburg, TX).
