Connecticut High School Basketball - St. Paul Catholic crushes Derby
February 10, 2023: Bristol, CT 06010 St. Paul Catholic Falcons (Bristol, CT) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Derby Red Raiders (Derby, CT), 80-48 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, St. Paul Catholic upgrades its record to 7-10 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Wolcott (Wolcott, CT) to play the Eagles in a Naugatuck Valley - Iron bout on Tuesday, February 14. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 8-8. Wolcott lost 50-44 in their recent league bout against Torrington (Torrington, CT)
Coming up next, the Red Raiders confront the Woodland Regional Hawks (Beacon Falls, CT) in a Naugatuck Valley - Copper battle, on Monday, February 13. Derby will attempt to improve on its 0-17 season record. The Hawks come into the battle with a 3-15 record after their 63-54 league loss to Oxford (Oxford, CT).
