The Wharton Tigers topped the host Sealy Tigers basketball team by a final score of 89-75 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Tigers face the Bellville Brahmas (Bellville, TX) in a 4A Region IV District 25 game, on Tuesday, February 14. Wharton will attempt to move on its 15-17 season record. The Brahmas enter the game with a 18-10 record after their 72-60 league win over Royal (Brookshire, TX).

With the defeat, Sealy moves to 11-16 on the year. The Tigers travel to El Campo (El Campo, TX) to face the Ricebirds in a 4A Region IV District 25 game on Tuesday, February 14.
