In Friday's league outing, the Sauk Centre Mainstreeters (Sauk Centre, MN) basketball squad edged the host Royalton Royals (Royalton, MN), by a margin of 51-49.

The Mainstreeters (15-6) will now prepare for their outing against New London-Spicer (New London, MN). The Wildcats go into the non-league outing with a 21-0 record. In their last outing, New London-Spicer held off Annandale (Annandale, MN), 61-41, in a non-league outing.

The Royals now own a 9-9 record. They play next when they travel to Spectrum for a AA Section 6 outing on Monday, February 13. Royalton will clash with a Sting squad coming off a 46-37 non-league win over Legacy Christian Academy (Andover, MN). The Sting record now stands at 16-3.
