South Dakota High School Basketball - Groton overwhelms Mobridge-Pollock
February 10, 2024: Groton, SD 57445 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Groton Tigers (Groton, SD) and the visiting Mobridge-Pollock Tigers (Mobridge, SD), saw Groton's basketball squad wallop Mobridge-Pollock by a tally of 78-39.
With the victory, Groton improves its record to 12-4 on the campaign. The Tigers host Britton-Hecla (Britton, SD) to confront the Braves in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 16. The Braves come into the challenge with a record of 4-14.
Next up, the Tigers confront the Stanley County Buffalos (Fort Pierre, SD) in a A Region 6 challenge, on Tuesday, February 13. Mobridge-Pollock will attempt to improve on its 12-7 season record. The Buffalos come into the challenge with a 10-8 record after their 67-39 non-league win over Bennett County (Martin, SD).
