South Dakota High School Basketball - Groton tops Aberdeen Christian
February 23, 2024: Groton, SD 57445 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Groton Tigers (Groton, SD) and the visiting Aberdeen Christian Knights (Aberdeen, SD), saw Groton's basketball squad knock off Aberdeen Christian by a count of 74-55.
With the victory, Groton upgrades its record to 16-4 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Redfield (Redfield, SD) to play the Pheasants in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 27. The Pheasants come into the challenge with a record of 1-19. Redfield lost 76-33 in their recent league challenge against Tiospa Zina (Agency Village, SD)
Next up, the Knights play the Northwestern Area Wildcats (Mellette, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 27. Aberdeen Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 14-6 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 5-15 record after their 66-57 league loss to Hitchcock-Tulare (Tulare, SD).
