Oregon High School Basketball - Philomath topples Westside Christian
February 10, 2024: Lake Oswego, OR 97035 In Saturday's non-league outing, the Philomath Warriors (Philomath, OR) basketball squad beat the host Westside Christian Eagles (Lake Oswego, OR), by a count of 58-44.
The Warriors (17-3) will now prepare for their outing against Sweet Home (Sweet Home, OR). The Huskies go into the 4A Oregon West outing with a 1-16 record. In their last outing, Sweet Home was topped by Newport (Newport, OR), 39-36, in a league match.
With the defeat, Westside Christian moves to 15-5 on the year. The Eagles travel to Astoria (Astoria, OR) to meet the Fishermen in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 13. The Fishermen enter the match with a record of 16-4. Astoria won 72-29 in their recent league match against Tillamook (Tillamook, OR)
