February 10, 2025: Jonesboro, LA 71251 The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Jonesboro-Hodge Tigers (Jonesboro, LA) and the visiting Calvin Cougars (Calvin, LA), observed Jonesboro-Hodge's basketball team overcome Calvin by a score of 65-49.
The Tigers (11-18) will now prepare for their challenge against Glenbrook (Minden, LA). The Apaches come into the 1A District 1 challenge with a 3-14 record. In their last challenge, Glenbrook dropped by Ringgold (Ringgold, LA), 72-32, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Cougars battle the Dodson Panthers (Dodson, LA) in a C District 2 challenge, on Thursday, February 13. Calvin will attempt to improve on its 11-23 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 6-17 record after their 80-49 non-league loss to D'Arbonne Woods (Farmerville, LA).
