Illinois High School Basketball - Normal University thwarts Limestone
February 10, 2025: Normal, IL 61761 Spectators at Monday's non-league bout between the Normal University Pioneers (Normal, IL) and the visiting Limestone Rockets (Bartonville, IL), saw Normal University's basketball team top Limestone by a tally of 65-50.
The Pioneers now possess a 15-13 record. They play next when they host Sacred Heart-Griffin for a Central State Eight bout on Friday, February 14. Normal University will play a Cyclones team coming off a 51-37 non-league loss to Lincoln (Lincoln, IL). The Cyclones record now stands at 13-14.
With the loss, Limestone falls to 11-15 on the campaign. The Rockets host Peoria (Peoria, IL) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 11. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 22-6. Peoria won 46-43 in their recent league bout against Manual (Peoria, IL)
