Virginia High School Basketball - West Point trounced by Gloucester
February 10, 2025: Gloucester, VA 23061 Gloucester Dukes (Gloucester, VA) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting West Point Pointers (West Point, VA), 59-37 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Gloucester advances its record to 8-12 on the year. The Dukes travel to Heritage (Newport News, VA) to face the Hurricanes in a Peninsula match on Thursday, February 13. The Hurricanes enter the match with a record of 8-11. Heritage won 2-1 in their recent league match against Bethel (Hampton, VA)
The Pointers now own a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mathews for a Tidewater match on Friday, February 14.
