The Liberty-Benton Eagles basketball team scored 78 points and held the visiting Riverdale Falcons to 35 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 15-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Patrick Henry for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 12. Liberty-Benton will battle a Patriots team coming off a 44-30 league win over Liberty Center (Liberty Center, OH). The Patriots record now stands at 11-5.

The Falcons (4-15) will now prepare for their contest against Bucyrus (Bucyrus, OH). The Redmen enter the non-league contest with a 3-16 record. In their last contest, Bucyrus was routed by Buckeye Central (New Washington, OH), 47-38, in a league contest.
