New Mexico High School Basketball - Alamo Navajo overwhelms Hondo Valley
February 11, 2023: Magdalena, NM 87825 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Alamo Navajo Cougars (Magdalena, NM) and the visiting Hondo Valley Eagles (Hondo, NM), saw Alamo Navajo's basketball squad wallop Hondo Valley by a tally of 83-49.
With the victory, Alamo Navajo improves its record to 20-4 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Carrizozo (Carrizozo, NM) to confront the Grizzlies in a A District 3 challenge on Tuesday, February 14. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a record of 4-19. Carrizozo lost 58-47 in their recent league challenge against Mountainair (Mountainair, NM)
Next up, the Eagles confront the Mountainair Mustangs (Mountainair, NM) in a A District 3 challenge, on Tuesday, February 14. Hondo Valley will attempt to improve on its 3-10 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 8-11 record after their 58-47 league win over Carrizozo (Carrizozo, NM).
