South Dakota High School Basketball - Lakota Tech holds off Hill City
February 11, 2023: Hill City, SD 57745 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Lakota Tech Tatanka (Pine Ridge, SD) and the host Hill City Rangers (Hill City, SD), saw Lakota Tech's basketball squad hold off Hill City by a tally of 33-29.
With the victory, Lakota Tech improves its record to 13-4 on the campaign. The Tatanka travel to Rapid City Christian (Rapid City, SD) to confront the Comets in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 13. The Comets come into the challenge with a record of 15-3. Rapid City Christian won 52-46 in their recent non-league challenge against Red Cloud (Pine Ridge, SD)
Next up, the Rangers confront the Custer Wildcats (Custer, SD) in a A Region 8 challenge, on Tuesday, February 14. Hill City will attempt to improve on its 9-9 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 11-7 record after their 46-29 non-league loss to Spearfish (Spearfish, SD).
