Minnesota High School Basketball - Stillwater nips Centennial
February 11, 2025: Stillwater, MN 55082 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Stillwater Ponies (Stillwater, MN) and the visiting Centennial Cougars (Circle Pines, MN), observed Stillwater's basketball team edge Centennial by a margin of 50-45.
The Ponies (14-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Irondale (New Brighton, MN). The Knights come into the AAAA Section 5 challenge with a 5-15 record. In their last challenge, Irondale was tipped by Park (Cottage Grove, MN), 57-56, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Cougars battle the Champlin Park Rebels (Champlin, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 13. Centennial will attempt to better on its 10-14 season record. The Rebels come into the challenge with a 17-3 record after their 82-76 league win over Roseville (Roseville, MN).
