The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Weed Cougars (Weed, CA) and the host Etna Lions (Etna, CA), observed Weed's basketball team knock off Etna by a score of 69-52.

The Cougars (19-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Trinity (Weaverville, CA). The Wolves come into the Shasta Cascade challenge with a 12-12 record. In their last challenge, Trinity was knocked off by Mt. Shasta (Mt. Shasta, CA), 65-48, in a league challenge.
