The Weed Cougars basketball team scored 88 points and limited the host Mt. Shasta Bears to 67 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Cougars now possess a 6-4 record. They play next when they travel to Arcata for a non-league game on Thursday, December 19. Weed will confront a Tigers team coming off a 52-48 non-league loss to Montgomery (Santa Rosa, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 6-2.

With the loss, Mt. Shasta falls to 5-4 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Argonaut (Jackson, CA) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league game on Thursday, December 19. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 7-1.
