Michigan High School Basketball - Sacred Heart Academy overwhelms Montabella
February 11, 2025: Mt. Pleasant, MI 48858 The Sacred Heart Academy Irish basketball team scored 86 points and limited the visiting Montabella Mustangs to 31 in the Irish league triumph on Tuesday.
The Irish now have a 16-3 record. They play next when they travel to Merrill for a Mid-State game on Thursday, February 13. Sacred Heart Academy will confront a Vandals team coming off a 66-32 league loss to Coleman (Coleman, MI). The Vandals record now stands at 5-13.
With the loss, Montabella falls to 11-7 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Breckenridge (Breckenridge, MI) to confront the Huskies in a Mid-State game on Thursday, February 13. The Huskies go into the game with a record of 8-9. Breckenridge lost 53-40 in their recent league game against Vestaburg (Vestaburg, MI)
