West Virginia High School Basketball - St. Albans overwhelms Sissonville
February 11, 2025: Charleston, WV 25312 The St. Albans Red Dragons basketball team scored 65 points and limited the host Sissonville Indians to 35 in the Red Dragons non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Red Dragons now possess a 9-7 record. They play next when they travel to Cabell Midland for a Mountain State game on Thursday, February 13. St. Albans will play a Knights team coming off a 65-61 league win over Capital (Charleston, WV). The Knights record now stands at 9-8.
With the loss, Sissonville falls to 3-14 on the campaign. The Indians host Point Pleasant (Point Pleasant, WV) to play the Big Blacks in a non-league game on Thursday, February 13. The Big Blacks go into the game with a record of 6-12. Point Pleasant lost 58-41 in their recent non-league game against Winfield (Winfield, WV)
