New Mexico High School Basketball - Cimarron can't hold off Springer
February 11, 2025: Cimarron, NM 87714 Springer Red Devils (Springer, NM) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Cimarron Rams (Cimarron, NM), 56-50 in a league match.
With the victory, Springer upgrades its record to 16-6 on the year. The Red Devils travel to Roy Municipal School (Roy, NM) to face the Longhorns in a non-league match on Thursday, February 13. The Longhorns enter the match with a record of 0-0.
The Rams now sport a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host New Mexico School for the Deaf for a A District 5 match on Wednesday, February 12. Cimarron will face a Roadrunners squad coming off a 58-10 league loss to Des Moines (Des Moines, NM). The Roadrunners record now stands at 5-11.
