The Santa Rosa Lions topped the host Pecos Panthers basketball team by a final score of 43-30 in Saturday's league game.

In their next game, the Lions face the Clayton Yellowjackets (Clayton, NM) in a 2A District 6 game, on Friday, February 18. Santa Rosa will attempt to move on its 14-8 season record.
