The Penfield (NY) varsity basketball team won Monday's home non-conference game against School of the Arts (Rochester, NY) by a score of 81-49.
The Penfield Patriots basketball team scored 81 points and held the visiting School of the Arts Silverhawks to 49 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Monday.
The Patriots now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hilton for a Section 5 Monroe 1 contest on Wednesday, February 14. Penfield will meet a Cadets team coming off a 72-48 league win over Webster Thomas (Webster, NY). The Cadets record now stands at 12-6.
The Silverhawks (8-11) will now prepare for their contest against Early College International (Rochester, NY). The Cobras enter the Section 5 Rochester City - Lower contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Early College International was routed by Harley Allendale Columbia (Rochester, NY), 62-34, in a non-league contest.
