Wisconsin High School Basketball - Darlington nips River Ridge
February 12, 2024: Patch Grove, WI 53817 Darlington Redbirds (Darlington, WI) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host River Ridge Timberwolves (Patch Grove, WI), 50-49 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Darlington upgrades its record to 16-7 on the season. The Redbirds host Cuba City (Cuba City, WI) to play the Cubans in a Southwest Wisconsin Activities bout on Thursday, February 15. The Cubans go into the bout with a record of 19-4. Cuba City won 61-51 in their recent non-league bout against Prairie du Chien (Prairie du Chien, WI)
Next up, the Timberwolves play the Potosi/Cassville (Potosi, WI) in a Six Rivers - West bout, on Thursday, February 15. River Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 13-10 season record. The go into the bout with a 3-18 record after their 90-52 league loss to Belmont (Belmont, WI).
