Michigan High School Basketball - Manton can't hold off Elk Rapids
February 12, 2024: Elk Rapids, MI 49629 The Elk Rapids Elks basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Manton Rangers to 57 in the Elks league triumph on Monday.
The Elks now sport a 16-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Boyne City for a Lake Michigan contest on Friday, February 16. Elk Rapids will battle a Ramblers team coming off a 56-52 non-league loss to Gaylord (Gaylord, MI). The Ramblers record now stands at 8-10.
The Rangers (15-3) will now prepare for their contest against Roscommon (Roscommon, MI). The Bucks enter the Highland contest with a 12-5 record. In their last contest, Roscommon nudged Pinconning (Pinconning, MI), 62-26, in a non-league contest.
