Michigan High School Basketball - Elk Rapids crushes Charlevoix
February 9, 2024: Elk Rapids, MI 49629 Elk Rapids Elks (Elk Rapids, MI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Charlevoix Rayders (Charlevoix, MI), 70-17 in a league bout.
With the victory, Elk Rapids upgrades its record to 15-2 on the campaign. The Elks host Manton (Manton, MI) to play the Rangers in a Highland bout on Monday, February 12. The Rangers come into the bout with a record of 15-2. Manton won 61-33 in their recent league bout against Pine River Area (Leroy, MI)
Next up, the Rayders play the St. Mary Cathedral Snowbirds (Gaylord, MI) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 12. Charlevoix will attempt to upgrade on its 9-7 season record. The Snowbirds come into the bout with a 12-5 record after their 46-35 league loss to Mancelona (Mancelona, MI).
