The Jackson County Generals (McKee, KY) basketball knocked off the visiting Rockcastle County Rockets (Mt. Vernon, KY), 54-46 in Monday's non-league test.

The Generals (15-9) will now prepare for their test against Bell County (Pineville, KY). The Bobcats go into the non-league test with a 16-8 record. In their last test, Bell County notched a victory over Harlan (Harlan, KY), 58-49, in a league test.

The Rockets now own a 17-9 record. They play next when they host Lincoln County for a non-league test on Thursday, February 15. Rockcastle County will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 58-23 non-league loss to Madison Southern (Berea, KY). The Patriots record now stands at 9-14.
