Rhode Island High School Basketball - St. Raphael Academy toppled by Cranston West
February 12, 2025: Pawtucket, RI 02860 Cranston West Falcons (Cranston, RI) supporters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host St. Raphael Academy Saints (Pawtucket, RI), 71-61 in a league match.
With the victory, Cranston West advances its record to 11-11 on the year. The Falcons travel to Johnston (Johnston, RI) to face the Panthers in a Division I match on Friday, February 14. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 0-21. Johnston lost 74-41 in their recent league match against Bishop Hendricken (Warwick, RI)
The Saints now own a 8-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Kingstown for a Division II match on Thursday, February 13. St. Raphael Academy will face a Rebels squad coming off a 80-66 league win over Middletown (Middletown, RI). The Rebels record now stands at 17-4.
