Rhode Island High School Basketball - Narragansett fells Cranston West
January 6, 2025: Narragansett, RI 02882 The Narragansett Mariners basketball team scored 59 points and limited the visiting Cranston West Falcons to 42 in the Mariners league triumph on Monday.
The Mariners now possess a 4-2 record. They play next when they host South Kingstown for a Division II game on Thursday, January 9. Narragansett will confront a Rebels team coming off a 70-65 league loss to Moses Brown (Providence, RI). The Rebels record now stands at 7-1.
With the loss, Cranston West falls to 4-3 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Rogers (Newport, RI) to confront the Vikings in a Division II game on Thursday, January 9. The Vikings go into the game with a record of 3-4. Rogers lost 48-38 in their recent league game against Burrillville (Harrisville, RI)
