February 13, 2022: South Weymouth, MA 02190 In Sunday's league outing, the Weymouth Wildcats (South Weymouth, MA) basketball squad edged the visiting Wellesley Raiders (Wellesley, MA), by a margin of 51-48.
The Wildcats (3-9) will now prepare for their outing against Milton (Milton, MA). The Wildcats go into the Bay State - Herget outing with a 2-10 record. In their last outing, Milton was tipped by Newton North (Newtonville, MA), 57-40, in a non-league outing.
The Raiders now own a 5-10 record. They play next when they host Natick for a Bay State - Herget outing on Tuesday, February 15. Wellesley will clash with a Redhawks squad coming off a 76-68 non-league loss to North Quincy (North Quincy, MA). The Redhawks record now stands at 5-5.
