The Crest Chargers (Shelby, NC) basketball crushed the host North Gaston Wildcats (Dallas, NC), 79-54 in Tuesday's league test.

The Chargers (17-2) will now prepare for their test against Kings Mountain (Kings Mountain, NC). The Mountaineers go into the 3A Big South test with a 18-5 record. In their last test, Kings Mountain walloped South Point (Belmont, NC), 79-62, in a league test.
