Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the West Chargers (Topeka, KS) and the host De Soto Wildcats (De Soto, KS), saw West's basketball squad hold off De Soto by a tally of 51-49.

With the victory, West improves its record to 12-6 on the campaign. The Chargers host Piper (Kansas City, KS) to confront the Pirates in a United Kansas challenge on Tuesday, February 20. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 15-3. Piper won 60-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Turner (Kansas City, KS)

Next up, the Wildcats confront the Bonner Springs Braves (Bonner Springs, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 16. De Soto will attempt to improve on its 14-4 season record.
