Kansas High School Basketball - Lansing topped by De Soto
February 9, 2024: Lansing, KS 66043 The De Soto Wildcats basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the host Lansing Lions to 54 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Friday.
The Wildcats now sport a 15-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host West for a United Kansas contest on Tuesday, February 13. De Soto will battle a Chargers team coming off a 55-49 league win over Seaman (Topeka, KS). The Chargers record now stands at 11-6.
The Lions (3-13) will now prepare for their contest against Shawnee Heights (Tecumseh, KS). The Thunderbirds come into the non-league contest with a 12-4 record. In their last contest, Shawnee Heights prevailed over West (Topeka, KS), 58-30, in a league contest.
