The Stark Generals (Weare, NH) basketball nipped the visiting Merrimack Valley The Pride (Penacook, NH), 42-41 in Tuesday's league test.

The Generals (6-11) will now prepare for their test against Sanborn Regional (Kingston, NH). The Indians go into the Division II test with a 9-10 record. In their last test, Sanborn Regional got by Oyster River (Durham, NH), 77-74, in a league test.

The The Pride now own a 7-10 record. They play next when they travel to Souhegan for a Division II test on Friday, February 16.
