New Hampshire High School Basketball - Stark thwarts Souhegan
December 15, 2023: Amherst, NH 03031 The Stark Generals (Weare, NH) basketball knocked off the host Souhegan Sabers (Amherst, NH), 64-52 in Friday's league test.
The Generals (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Hanover (Hanover, NH). The Bears go into the Division II test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Hanover went down by Merrimack Valley (Penacook, NH), 35-32, in a league test.
The Sabers now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Bow for a Division II test on Tuesday, December 19. Souhegan will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 53-46 league loss to Laconia (Laconia, NH). The Falcons record now stands at 1-1.
