Souhegan Sabers (Amherst, NH) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Sanborn Regional Indians (Kingston, NH), 52-40 in a league bout.

With the victory, Souhegan upgrades its record to 2-8 on the campaign. The Sabers travel to Milford (Milford, NH) to play the Spartans in a Division II bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 4-8. Milford won 67-53 in their recent league bout against ConVal (Peterborough, NH)

Next up, the Indians play the ConVal Cougars (Peterborough, NH) in a Division II bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Sanborn Regional will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record.
