The Connersville Spartans basketball team scored 41 points and limited the visiting East Central Trojans to 35 in the Spartans league triumph on Thursday.

The Spartans now possess a 8-11 record. They play next when they travel to Greensburg for a Eastern Indiana game on Friday, February 14. Connersville will play a Pirates team coming off a 63-36 non-league win over Jac-Cen-Del (Osgood, IN). The Pirates record now stands at 9-8.

With the loss, East Central falls to 6-11 on the campaign. The Trojans host Batesville (Batesville, IN) to play the Bulldogs in a Eastern Indiana game on Saturday, February 15.
