Howells-Dodge Jaguars (Howells, NE) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host North Bend Central Tigers (North Bend, NE), 63-61 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Howells-Dodge advances its record to 19-4 on the year. The Jaguars host Lutheran-Northeast (Norfolk, NE) to face the Eagles in a non-league match on Friday, February 21. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 12-9. Lutheran-Northeast lost 51-39 in their recent non-league match against Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] (Clearwater, NE)

The Tigers now own a 12-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fort Calhoun for a non-league match on Friday, February 21.
