The Howells-Dodge Jaguars (Howells, NE) basketball crushed the host Clarkson/Leigh Patriots (Clarkson, NE), 55-22 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Jaguars now possess a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Humphrey-Lindsay for a D1 District 4 bout on Monday, December 30. Howells-Dodge will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 58-33 non-league win over Lyons-Decatur Northeast (Lyons, NE). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-3.
