Nebraska High School Basketball - Tekamah-Herman holds off Clarkson/Leigh

In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Tekamah-Herman Tigers basketball team scored a close 63-58 triumph over the Clarkson/Leigh Patriots.

The Tigers (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Lyons-Decatur Northeast (Lyons, NE). The Cougars go into the non-league contest with a 4-8 record. In their last contest, Lyons-Decatur Northeast was tipped by West Point-Beemer (West Point, NE), 69-32, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Patriots confront the Archangels Catholic Defenders (Humphrey, NE) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 17. Clarkson/Leigh will attempt to better on its 2-11 season record. The Defenders go into the contest with a 8-3 record after their 51-34 non-league loss to Howells-Dodge (Howells, NE).
