Castle Knights (Newburgh, IN) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Vincennes Lincoln Alices (Vincennes, IN), 58-39 in a league bout.

With the victory, Castle upgrades its record to 14-6 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Evansville North (Evansville, IN) to play the Huskies in a Southern Indiana bout on Friday, February 17. The Huskies come into the bout with a record of 6-14. Evansville North lost 54-40 in their recent non-league bout against Bedford North Lawrence (Bedford, IN)

Next up, the Alices play the Evansville Memorial Tigers (Evansville, IN) in a Southern Indiana bout, on Friday, February 17. Vincennes Lincoln will attempt to upgrade on its 4-16 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 12-7 record after their 67-55 league win over Evansville Central (Evansville, IN).
