Illinois High School Basketball - Scales Mound crushes River Ridge

February 14, 2023: Scales Mound, IL 61075

Scales Mound Hornets (Scales Mound, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting River Ridge Wildcats (Hanover, IL), 58-36 in a league bout.

With the win, Scales Mound upgrades its record to 26-5 on the season. The Hornets host Orangeville (Orangeville, IL) to clash with the Broncos in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 18. The Broncos go into the bout with a record of 3-26.

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Galena Pirates (Galena, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 18. River Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 14-14 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 22-8 record after their 62-49 league win over East Dubuque (East Dubuque, IL).
