Pierce County Bears (Blackshear, GA) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Appling County Pirates (Baxley, GA), 85-57 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Pierce County advances its record to 9-14 on the year. The Bears travel to Union County (Blairsville, GA) to meet the Panthers in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 18. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 22-5. Union County lost 76-58 in their recent non-league match against North Cobb Christian (Kennesaw, GA)
