Colorado High School Basketball - Brush holds off Platte Valley

February 14, 2025: Brush, CO 80723

The Brush Beetdiggers basketball team scored 57 points and limited the visiting Platte Valley Broncos to 55 in the Beetdiggers league triumph on Friday.

The Beetdiggers now possess a 8-11 record. They play next when they travel to Highland for a 3A Patriot game on Tuesday, February 18. Brush will confront a Huskies team coming off a 55-40 non-league win over Bennett (Bennett, CO). The Huskies record now stands at 15-4.

With the loss, Platte Valley falls to 5-14 on the campaign. The Broncos host Liberty Common (Fort Collins, CO) to confront the Eagles in a 3A Patriot game on Tuesday, February 18. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 11-8. Liberty Common lost 61-57 in their recent non-league game against SkyView Academy (Highlands Ranch, CO)
