February 14, 2025: Jericho, VT 05465 Burlington Seahorses (Burlington, VT) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Mt. Mansfield Cougars (Jericho, VT), 57-39 in a league match.
With the victory, Burlington advances its record to 20-2 on the year. The Seahorses host Rutland (Rutland, VT) to face the Raiders in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 18. The Raiders enter the match with a record of 13-5. Rutland won 77-44 in their recent league challenge against Brattleboro (Brattleboro, VT)
In their next game, the Cougars encounter the Colchester Lakers (Colchester, VT) in a Metro challenge, on Monday, February 17. Mt. Mansfield will attempt to improve on its 9-10 season record. The Lakers come into the challenge with a 4-13 record after their 55-47 league loss to Essex (Essex Junction, VT).
