Vermont High School Basketball - Burlington knocks off St. Johnsbury Academy
January 30, 2025: St. Johnsbury, VT 05819 In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Burlington Seahorses basketball team scored a good 86-66 win over the St. Johnsbury Academy Hilltoppers.
The Seahorses (16-2) will now prepare for their contest against Champlain Valley Union (Hinesburg, VT). The Redhawks come into the Metro contest with a 7-7 record. In their last contest, Champlain Valley Union was topped by Mt. Mansfield (Jericho, VT), 42-31, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Hilltoppers battle the Bellows Free Academy Bobwhites/Comets (St. Albans, VT) in a non-league contest, on Monday, February 3. St. Johnsbury Academy will attempt to better on its 10-5 season record. The Bobwhites/Comets come into the contest with a 8-9 record after their 62-52 non-league win over Colchester (Colchester, VT).
