In Friday's league test, the Portage Central Mustangs (Portage, MI) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Mattawan Wildcats (Mattawan, MI), by a score of 55-39.

Next, the Mustangs clash with the Vicksburg Bulldogs (Vicksburg, MI) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, February 18. Portage Central will attempt to improve on its 11-8 season record. The Bulldogs come into the test with a 10-11 record after their 55-53 league win over Sturgis (Sturgis, MI).
