Nebraska High School Basketball - Tri County triumphant over Sterling

The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Tri County Trojans (DeWitt, NE) and the visiting Sterling Jets (Sterling, NE), observed Tri County's basketball team overwhelm Sterling by a score of 64-24.

The Trojans (7-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Heartland (Henderson, NE). The Huskies come into the non-league game with a 4-16 record. In their last game, Heartland was ripped by Osceola (Osceola, NE), 57-48, in a non-league game.

With the loss, Sterling falls to 4-16 on the campaign. The Jets travel to Freeman (Adams, NE) to play the Falcons in a non-league game on Friday, February 21. The Falcons go into the game with a record of 20-1. Freeman won 54-48 in their recent non-league game against Johnson-Brock (Johnson, NE)
