The St. James Academy Thunder (Lenexa, KS) basketball edged the visiting Saint Thomas Aquinas Saints (Overland Park, KS), 54-48 in Friday's league bout.

The Thunder now possess a 14-2 record. They play next when they host Blue Valley North for a Eastern Kansas bout on Tuesday, February 18. St. James Academy will play a Mustangs team coming off a 59-45 league win over Blue Valley (Stilwell, KS). The Mustangs record now stands at 12-3.
