Lafayette Fighting Irish (St. Joseph, MO) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the host Smithville Warriors (Smithville, MO), 35-33 in a league bout.
With the win, Lafayette upgrades its record to 15-9 on the season. The Fighting Irish travel to Chillicothe (Chillicothe, MO) to encounter the Hornets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 19. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 2-9.
