Minnesota High School Basketball - Hopkins overwhelms Minnetonka
February 15, 2023: Minnetonka, MN 55345 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Hopkins Royals (Minnetonka, MN) and the host Minnetonka Skippers (Minnetonka, MN), saw Hopkins's basketball squad wallop Minnetonka by a tally of 82-59.
With the victory, Hopkins improves its record to 21-2 on the campaign. The Royals travel to St. Louis Park (St. Louis Park, MN) to confront the Orioles in a AAAA Section 6 challenge on Saturday, February 18. The Orioles come into the challenge with a record of 8-13.
Next up, the Skippers confront the Wayzata Trojans (Plymouth, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 21. Minnetonka will attempt to improve on its 13-9 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 21-3 record after their 63-52 non-league win over Eden Prairie (Eden Prairie, MN).
